Coordinator

ROP Position Title: Coordinator, 1 FTE

The head of the program. This role, located at the central office, ensures FAPE, compliance, and student progress, and oversees day to day operations of the program.

Case Manager

ROP Position Title: Classroom Teacher - Special Education, 13 FTE

A school-level or case-load-level role, primarily located at a school site for proximity to students, under the supervision of the SpEd Coordinator, serving as the point of contact and overseer for one or more students' IEPs, and may also deliver direct, individualized instruction and support to students.

Resource Specialist

ROP Position Title: Education Specialist - Special Education, 3 FTE

A program-level role, primarily located at the central office under the supervision of the Coordinator, provides technical assistance, professional development, capacity-building to schools and consultive services to case managers, ensures a successful IEP process through monitoring and collaborative work with case managers, an may also assist with direct, individualized instruction to support case managers.

Para-Professional

ROP Position Title: Teacher Aide, 1 FTE

A special education paraprofessional (or 'para') is a trained classroom assistant who works under a teacher's supervision to support students with disabilities. They provide individualized academic, behavioral, and personal care—such as implementing IEP goals, managing behavior plans, or assisting with mobility—to ensure students can fully access their education.
