Executive Order 472
The Division of Instructional Induction, Teacher Professional Development, and Continuing Education shall be headed by a Chief. The Division shall have the following duties and functions:

1. Provision of professional development and instructional leadership trainings for teachers;
2. Conduct delivery of classroom instruction observations in the public schools;
3. Implement instructional coaching cycles in the public schools and facilitation of new teacher induction;
4. Provide technical support and assistance to teachers;
5. Track teacher performance information and maintain teacher development records;
6. Identification of teacher training needs;
7. Work with human resource development and Division of Curriculum Development and Implementation to register and track professional development and continuing education requirements to support Palau Teacher Certification Program for the ministry; and
8. Performance of other duties as assigned by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
